The Roles of a Coach in Divorce, Life and Relationships
Our family relationships create a template upon which our experiences, thoughts and values are embedded. My primary goal as a coach is to assist individuals and families to increase their level of differentiation of self. Essentially, this means to foster emotional connection while at the same time, respecting differences and allowing all family members to be themselves.
“Coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the ‘here and now,’ rather than on the distant past or future. Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximize their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them. Good coaches believe that the individual always has the answer to their own problems but understands that they may need help to find the answer,” according to the website Skills You Need, regarding coaching.
A coach serves as an advisor or guide. Here, I explain my role as a divorce coach, a life coach and a relationship coach, and how I can help.
As a professional life coach in the Tampa Bay area, I have had the privilege of helping people find greater clarity of their personal vision and higher levels of fulfillment in their lives through self-exploration and improved relationships. This is achieved when I discover my client’s unique skills and gifts, and together, we create an effective strategy to highlight them. Conversely, when more negative issues require examination, I facilitate guidance to address them honestly and directly.
As a professional relationship coach in the Tampa Bay area, I help singles and couples improve their communication skills, identify their individual and collective goals, and develop conflict resolution strategies. Relationship coaching is strongly recommended for married couples and romantic partnerships as a means of deepening levels of intimacy and overall satisfaction in the relationship.
As a professional divorce coach in the Tampa Bay area, I serve as the voice of experience. I have been through the process myself, and I have guided many others through the positive and negatives of this emotional journey. I help clients before, during or after a divorce by assisting them with communication, organization, and professional recommendations. As your divorce coach, I’m with you every step of the way to help you make a plan to get through the day, the week, or over the hurdle. Your best interest is my focus.
I am a private practice coach who specializes in life and relationship coaching, with an emphasis on divorce coaching for families that are already divorced or going through the process of divorce.
I currently offer virtual divorce, life and relationship coaching, because it is safe, convenient and provides flexibility in scheduling that includes evenings and weekends. Plus, individuals, couples and families can participate from the privacy and comfort of their own homes or workplaces.
